FAQs

1. Is the DHC Blackhawk LED Headlight compatible with all Mahindra Thar models?

It's designed for compatible Thar and Jeep models, but fitment can vary by year/variant

2. What makes this headlight better than the stock Thar headlight?

It's a 7-inch, 75W-per-headlight (150W per pair) LED unit with 6500K white light, high/low beam function, and a beam throw of up to 300 meters — noticeably brighter and more focused than the factory halogen units. It also uses an RHD-specific beam pattern designed to cut glare for oncoming traffic on Indian roads.

3. Is installation easy, and is it weatherproof for off-roading?

Most compatible vehicles support plug-and-play fitment, though professional installation is recommended for proper alignment. The housing is die-cast aluminum with a hand-coated polycarbonate lens and a stepless thermal management system, making it dust, moisture, and heat resistant — suited to off-road use. It carries a 1-year brand warranty.
